I liked today's readings!
Obadiah reminds me not to rejoice when others (even my enemies!) suffer misfortune:
"You should not have gloated . . .
"You should not have rejoiced . . .
"You should not have spoken arrogantly in that terrible time of trouble."
2 Corinthians 8 shows me a good parenting technique: Paul seems to be addressing the Corinthians' stinginess, but he does so by praising their good qualities and urging them to be generous. He is so positive!!!
